Your Roadmap Towards Success

These quotes encapsulate the heart behind Edge Floral Advisors and why we place immense value on long-range planning. It's been said that “we often overestimate what we can achieve in a year, yet vastly underestimate our potential over a decade.” While the future remains unpredictable and economic shifts are sure to occur, one constant remains: the power you have to define your floral business's identity, aspirations, and direction. Taking this step is pivotal to reaching your ultimate potential.

Drawing upon decades of experience helping organizations of all sizes across different industries with shaping their long-range plans, Edge has developed a Long Range Strategic Planning program and process that is unique in utilizing aspects taken from many other established programs. This approach allows us to help you unearth the pathway toward the future success of your business.

Our team will come alongside you helping lead the way towards success. Partnering with us could very well be the most impactful decision you make.

ABOUT US

An industry veteran with a track record of success

After helping numerous organizations with strategic planning and growth efforts through the years, Edge Floral Advisors was started by Ben Heroman to focus his efforts on helping others in the industry that has given so much to him and his family.

Literally born and raised in the floral industry, Ben’s family, the Heroman’s of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, have been in the horticulture industry since the late 1800s.  When things got crowded in the third generation and the three brothers decided to split the original business into multiple businesses in the 1950s, William J “Billy” Heroman, Sr. (Ben’s Grandfather) started Billy Heroman’s Flowerland in 1955.  Now in its 69th year of business, Billy Heroman’s has grown tremendously, achieving significant success, becoming the dominant retail florist in the state of Louisiana and one of the largest horticulture firms in the entire southern United States.

Ben literally grew up in the business, missing school to help oversee delivery routing at Valentine’s and Mother’s Day beginning in the 7th grade, spending summers learning various parts of the business, and completing needed projects around the greenhouse and warehouse through the years.  Ben ultimately joined the business full-time in 2003 at the age of 25.
